And So The Breaking Begins: Mindbreaker Duet, Book 1 (An Age of War and Prophecy 3)

by Stephanie Hudson
Special Editon - Includes both Keira’s and Draven’s Point of View.
Afterlife, just a place for an unhappy King to call home or soon to become a beacon of hope when a new waitress falls at his feet?
The Gothic nightclub is about to welcome a new guest and this time it is one he can’t control. As for Dominic Draven, the King of all Supernatural life, handling just one little Mortal named Keira, should be no problem for him…right?
Wrong!
As she is his Chosen One and not meant to be ruled by a domineering, overbearing, arrogant boss who is determined to keep her at arm’s length. But instead, she is meant to achieve the impossible and crack the hard shell of an immortal King that is only now learning what it truly means to fall in love.
This is the story of Afterlife, only from the eyes of its King. As you will finally follow Keira’s journey all over again, only through Dominic Draven’s point of view along with Keira’s, giving it a whole new and exciting twist on the start of this epic saga.
This is book one, in the new King of Kings saga, Special Edition, with book two to follow shortly after.

I've read every thing that Stephanie Hudson has written and all of her books are fabulous. I enjoyed the story lines and the characters in all of the books. I've started over rereading the series. )

After reading the first Afterlife series, I wanted to jump in and become part of the life of the book. While anxiously awaiting other characters' stories to be introduced, I felt there was more to be told. Well, the account from DD's POV has thrown me back into the world with a vengeance. Including Kiera's story in the special edition has me itching for more!! ) 2 people found this helpful

I am a huge fan of Stephanie’s books ever since she brought out the first Book of the Afterlife saga years ago. When she announced that there was going to be a few books from Draven’s POV, I was super excited. The book was as great as all the others – very emotional and giving nice insights into his thoughts. However, I can’t give more than 4 stars for two reasons. One, as much as I love many books in one series, I was a little disappointed that Stephanie cut the first book from Draven’s...

I had an inkling as to what Dom was thinking when he met Kazzy....or so I thought!!! Scratch every thing you thought you knew and just shut up and read lol. As always Stephanie never ceases to amaze me. I honestly don't know where to begin without giving away the story. What I will say is that reading his point of view really makes me what to know more about what he was thinking when other things happened in the rest of the saga! If you have not finished reading his point of view yet GET TO IT...
