Paranormal Romance is my favorite genre and I read a lot of it. Most authors do a fine job, giving you a well written story and interesting characters. But to write a new and original take on an ancient story? That doesn't happen very often. But this series has done it. I really enjoyed book 1. You know you are going to get a certain amount of world building, but even so the author gave us characters we quickly became invested in and some intriguing plot developments.
