And So The Breaking Begins: Mindbreaker Duet, Book 1 (An Age of War and Prophecy 3)

Beneath the neon lights and crowded casinos of human-run Las Vegas, there's a hidden underbelly with far more grit and blood...
Welcome to the supernatural fringes, where the rules are unspoken, magic is everywhere, and the truth is complicated. Especially when you're the only angel around. With temperamental wings and a growing reputation as the club's loose cannon, I'm starting to attract the wrong kind of attention.
Then someone dies.
He had it coming, but now I'm in a tight spot stuck with three men and no personal space: Luca, a shifter with a killer stare and a body I can't ignore; Alistair, a vampire who trades in secrets and won't leave mine alone; and Ciprian, a demon with a disarming sense of humor who might be the most dangerous of them all.
They're all monsters. They can't be mine.
But temptation is hard to resist—even for an angel. Something dark is lurking in this sunbaked valley. A mystery that leads straight to me. I'm Celine. I dance for my money and fight for my freedom, but I'll burn it all down before I give up an inch of ground.
Darkest Valley is book one of the Radiant Legacy series—a paranormal romance featuring a strong FMC, protective MMCs, and a medium-burn, multi-POV story where the woman ends up with multiple love interests, some of whom also fall for each other.
Set in Alana Kay's Legacy Universe, this series overlaps chronologically with the Lost Legacy trilogy. While either series can be an entry point into the universe, listening to both will give you a richer look at the magical world they share.
You can expect: angels, demons, vampires, shifters, and witches; found family, forced proximity, fake dating, and friends to lovers; emotional tension, steamy payoff, and high-stakes supernatural mystery.

This is Alana Kay's best book yet—And I know because I started with her first trilogy! Celine is a badass, this hot angel who's somehow not banging her sexy bartender best friend. (Spoiler alert: their hands-off policy doesn't last.) They get in trouble for accidentally killing an a-hole, and things heat up from there. Celine has to band together with her best friends plus an enemy or two, and they all end up in bed together. But like all of Alana Kay's books, it's as much about the friendships...

all reverse harem romantasies should have some mm in them, as a treat, and this one got there. the first book is a slow burn, but i tore through the 3 in this series that are out in about a day and a half. sinful, self indulgent, and fun - like rich chocolate ice cream in july. it’s good for you… metaphorically. ) One person found this helpful

This book is great! I love how edgy and pining all the characters are, yet it somehow still manages to be laugh out loud funny. I followed Ciprian over here from the Lost Legacy series and I'm so invested in him getting his happily ever after. The level of plot going on here is intricate---not your typical RH. There's an entire supernatural lore and different factions feuding and battling for control. I have so many questions for book two!! ) 2 people found this helpful

Wait did you say.. husband?! This is a fun one. I was reading the djinn series in parallel and was like some of these characters feel familiar.. and then everything connected 🤪 and I’m loving this paranormal universe. Ready to jump into book 2 with that epilogue!! )

The book just dragged.. At about to 50% mark I kept looking at how much I had until the book was done. The story could’ve been wrapped up neatly in half the time without as much of the “oh the trauma made me a cold hard bitch that can’t admit to any feelings period” drama. It got tedious and I wasn’t engaged enough to even bother reading the second book. ) One person found this helpful
