Wills starts this new series off with a strong hook- jumping right into the craziness and tragedy that is Callie's (our MC) life with her abusive father. Needless to say, though I'll say it anyway, Callie has had one h*ll of a life. Great start to a series. Strong characters and the author has done an excellent job of drawing you in and making you care about them all. The guys are not cookie cutter, each is unique and has their own demons to battle.
