There are bonds that tie sisters together.
And then there are bonds that refuse to let go.
Cailyn has always felt her sister’s emotions like they were her own.
But when a demon marks Damara, that connection becomes something else entirely.
Something invasive.
Something dangerous.
Because now Cailyn feels everything.
The pull of the claim.
The slow unraveling of her sister’s will.
The darkness growing inside her.
Witches were never meant to survive demons.
And demons were never meant to lose what they claim.
As the line between love and control begins to blur,
Cailyn is faced with an impossible truth—
Saving her sister may cost her everything.
And losing her… may destroy them both.
Perfect for readers who love:
Dark fantasy romance • Witches & demons • Sister bonds
Morally grey heroes • Emotional, high-stakes stories

This book is two twin sisters who are in hiding. They have a connection that could be a benefit or a curse. After one sister is claimed they go on the run and find a world they never knew about. Enjoyable read, however thhis book is a short read and focused on the bond between the two twin sisters. We only meet one of her guys in this book. Liked that the relationship between the sisters and how one is the protector of the other. Hopefully we get some more information on witches and demons. I'm...

I enjoyed this story and the premise of witches and wizards in hiding. We have a strong-willed main character who meets the powerful but servant oriented leader. I'm looking forward to the next book to reveal the backstory of the deal made with the demon. This book is a bit short, and I feel it could've fleshed out some more bits along the timeline, but if you like a quick read, here you go! )

This is an intriguing start to what I hope will be a lengthy series, though this book itself is far from lengthy. While it lacks some detail, and what world building we find is scattered (feels fantasy, but maybe dystopian?) it is still a decent story that culminates in a heartbreaking cliffhanger. First person, single POV, cliffhanger PNR or fantasy Rating = PG-13 Character age range = 21+ Pros: - Interesting concept. - Demons and witches, oh my - The twin connection Cons: - So short, more a...

This book was a really enjoyable read that from the moment that I started reading, I knew that I was going to be in for one heck of a good read. There was no putting it down till it was done. It moves along at a great pace, has amazing characters and a story that will not disappoint. This book needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it. It is a must read. )
