I literally can't wait for book 3!!! I'm so mad I started another unfinished series with another cliffhanger! But I'm also so excited for the third book. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself but G. Bailey knows how to hook people into a book and keep them chained until the next installment! Like a sweet torture until you get that last book that totally makes it all worth it! Book 2 is incredible, you get more background on Juniper and her dragon mates. It also answers a lot of questions...

Oh. My. Goddess. I have been aching for the second installment of G. Bailey's Bloodstone Academy series, and We Borrow the Light did not disappoint in its promise of dark academia, fated mates, and a heroine ready to absolutely torch her enemies. As a huge fan of why-choose romances with a strong fantasy bent, especially when the FMC is a total badass with a score to settle, this book hit so many sweet spots! Our protagonist, the formerly \"perfect student,\" is back, and she remembers...

This was a quick read. I had been waiting for this book to come out and it was great. I wish some of the other characters story were told and since the book was fairly short I feel like there was a lot of room to elaborate. I have book 3 release date saved so I will continue this series. )

The second book in this series is full of action and fills in alot of the gaps left by the first book. Keeps you wondering what will happen next. Juni and wini and even parker along side thier loves (bonded and not bonded) are great. However, it ended again on a cliffhanger. )
