The action moves west in A.K. Mulford’s romantic, action-packed epic fantasy series, The Five Crowns of Okrith, as young fae warrior Bri investigates the murder of her queen while protecting the beautiful princess she may be falling for.
Determined to uncover who killed the Western Queen, fae warrior Briata Catullus sets out on a mission to defeat the witch hunters and safeguard her princess.
But when she arrives at the Western Court, things are even worse than she feared. The icy reception from the fae is the least of her problems—they’ve heard the prophecy that Bri will seize the crown from its sovereign, and the last thing they want is for her to usurp the throne. No, the witch hunters are out for royal blood, and it will take everything Bri has to keep them at bay.
It doesn’t help that, still grieving the loss of her mother, Princess Abalina Thorne is reluctant to allow Bri into her confidence, only agreeing to let her serve as one of her guards at the behest of the princess’ cousin.
As the threat of the witch hunters grows, they find themselves thrown together, working closely to uncover the secret plot of their enemies. Along the way, the princess realizes that Bri is one of the few people she can trust. But Bri is determined to forge her own path and prove the prophecy wrong, not letting the beautiful Lina distract her from defeating the witch hunters. She has a duty to the princess, a duty to the Western Court, and a duty to her own destiny.
But what about the duty to her heart?
Includes bonus story, The Witchslayer.

Other than the novellas, this is my third story I’ve read by Mulford. I adore the world of Okrith and keep falling more and more in love with every character and story. I usually don’t love series that transition main characters as it goes, but this series is truly done perfectly. The slow burn and lead up to the spice and plot crescendo is divine. I also appreciate how the series gets spicier as it goes and finds that perfect balance of adult fantasy without being all about the spice. It truly...

The Rogue Crown, the third installment in the captivating Crowns of Okrith series, delves into the remarkable journey of Bri, my favorite Twin Eagle. Banished from the Western court due to a prophecy foretelling that she would seize the throne, Bri now returns to this very place to aid in the protection of Princess Lina. Determined to stand by Lina's side until the imminent threat is gone. Having been captivated by Bri's character in the High Mountain Court and further enthralled in her...

Fantasy is my go-to genre and when I heard sapphic fantasy, I was very in, but this was just interesting enough to keep me engaged for the plot while being just boring enough that I dragged my feet to get through it. )

An amazing 3rd book to this series. We finally get more of the Eagle Twins stories following Bri. This is a sapphic fantasy romance with enemies to lovers, found family and strong MCs. I always love AK Mulford books and getting to see more of the main characters in her stories. Bri and Lina are both strong and stubborn. They both had parents who really didn't understand them as a person. Both are uniquely different with distinct personalities. The steamy scenes were chef's kiss. The battle...

The Rogue Crown is fantastical! A combination of fantastic & magical! This is the tale of Bri! We’ve known Bri since The High Mountain Court as the strong, tough fighter/protector. In the Rogue Crown, not only do we learn a lot more about Bri, but we get to see a whole new side to her. We see Bri’s vulnerable side and it’s beautiful! It took me a bit to get into this book but once I hit a certain point, I just got captivated and was hooked ‘til the end. I couldn’t put it down anymore! Bri...
