I really enjoyed reading this book and stepping back in time to Victorian England. It had such a unique magic system that seems to be ever evolving as you read. There were a few surprises and twists so make sure you are paying attention. You don't want to be left confused when you reach the cliffhanger. I pre-ordered this book after seeing a reel depicting a time travel romance unlike any that I’ve heard of.
