Tessa Davenport is broke with nowhere to live. She does the only thing she can, packs up her belongings and leaves the cheating boyfriend's apartment forever. Overall this book is delightful and fun! You follow Tessa, a woman who’s heartbroken, back to her hometown where she is tossed into a murder mystery! All she wants is to focus on herself and healing,but her Aunts have other plans. She meets a halfbreed vampire,Ronin, who makes her new path bearable! However the deaths keep piling up in town and the Chief wants Tessa out of the way though would prefer her to get out of town! I really enjoyed the tone of the novel that feisty sarcasm was...

Wow! This book is fast-paced from the get-go. The minute the heroine hits town, the killing starts. There are loads of danger, magic flying, a town full of shifters, vampires, witches,and demons. Then throw in a mysterious woman and her minions. Highly entertaining. ) 2 people found this helpful
