Shadow Heart by Morgan B. Lee pulled me deeper into the Cursed Legacies world with its mix of dark magic, mystery, and slow-burning romance. First of all, YES, 400-something pages. I love me a big book, and I was so excited to see that Lee was giving us a bigger bite of Maven's adventures in Shadow Heart. This was one of the better books that I've read recently, and I read a lot, so that's saying something. Shadow Heart continues Lee's style from book one, where we've got this lovely medley of Wednesday and the All the Pretty Monsters series. I finished book 1 and book 2 in the same day. I didn't plan on that.
