As a huge fan of the Hollows series, I was so excited for Million Dollar Demon, and it did not disappoint. Seeing Rachel face off against Constance (who is easily one of the most terrifying villains yet) kept me on the edge of my seat. I love that even 15 books in, the world feels fresh and Rachel is still growing as a character. The banter with Jenks is as sharp as ever, and the stakes for Cincinnati have never felt higher. Fast Paced Throwback to Earlier Books

This is hands down one of the best books since the earlier portion of the series. The Hollows is probably my favorite Urban Fantasy series, as Rachel is more realistically balanced with abilities and flaws than many heroines in this genre. While Harrison clearly planned to end the series, tying it up with Epilogue, Prequel (The Turn), and all, I am thrilled she picked up the metaphorical pen again. 4 - 4.5 stars Oh, yeah, this foray into the Hollows was really good! And Rachel just keeps surprising both her readers and herself, too. Million Dollar Demon shows a new facet to Rachel, as there's a new master vamp in town. And this new master vamp is not there to make life easy for anyone but herself. Book 15 didn't disappoint! Kim Harrison is an amazing author hands down. I absolutely love getting lost in this whole world she created! The only downside is when I put the book down and have to go back to the daily grind. Great job as always! P.S Kim you should come back to Florida! )
