I have to admit that lately I am tired of hearing about mud-slinging politics, terrorist attacks and mass shootings. Even though I feel I need to stay informed, lately I avoid all news reports or social media. It's just too depressing! To my family and friends, I hold up my hand in the universal signal for stop and declare, \"Good news only please!\" These days, instead of social media, I find I like to escape into the pages of a good book. Settling into my favorite rocking chair, cup of coffee...

Tricia O'Malley has done it again with this latest entry into her mystical world of Fae, magic and somewhat ordinary people with extraordinary powers - some might call them witchy. In this book the Domnua (dark Fae) are battling against the Domnula (light Fae). There are elemental Fae; fire earth, water and air. A young woman meets a man at a festival where they end up together for the night but in the morning he's gone. She's left wondering if it was all a dream until fire sparks from her...

I loved it! The story is fabulous, creative, and very interesting. The characters are so real, and I could relate so well to their adventures, which were challenging and fun to read about. )
