Book three in the Souls trilogy. DO NOT read this book without reading Tethered and Broken Souls.

I tried making a blurb, and it's too graphic and triggering. This book has the BLACKEST BLACK rating, which means it makes pitch black romance read like a fairy tale. This is not "trauma p0rn" for the sake of being dark. This is a very gritty, emotional, trauma filled story about a woman who goes through hell, so you will get the emotional impact of her torture. It also focuses on how she heals afterwards. I have discussed and shared the therapy scenes with an actual therapist, but to get to those points, you have to go through hell (ie: reading it - although, you could skip to the end I guess).

You can read the triggers on my website - of which there are trigger warnings for the trigger warnings because it's that dark.

So take care of your mental health. Do not go into this book as a booktok challenge. Do not seek out the hard edition for the sake of testing your limits. Do not keep reading if you are struggling because if you think it cannot get worse, it absolutely can.

Jagged Souls **READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS*** This is not a series or book you use to test your limits on, so make sure you take care of yourself!! I started with Madness Behind the Mask and read every book in order so I'd understand this book and every character. I've never read such a dark series before that I've connected to so much from the very first book. Varius the oldest of the more recent Shadow kids, raised to always be looking over his shoulder, the weight of the family, blaming...

HOW COULD YOU?! I sobbed, and sobbed, and sobbed, and sobbed. This series has me in a chokehold. I CANNOT stop thinking about it. I needed 36 hours to process this book. To like actually process what the HECK I just read! MICHA. I LOVE YOU. God, I feel so bad for every single person in these books, but as someone who has A LOT of trauma from a bad mother, bad boyfriends, and SA, I also felt so much kinship. I reiterate: HOW COULD YOU?! Read the trigger warnings!!!!!! This book is beautifully written as it is dark and graphic the smut the love the romance the plot everything is so done perfectly. Just when you think what's going to happen it changes. I've cried laugh smiled yelled gotten angry thought out the whole series!!! )

I really love this book!! This is full of twist and turns!! It does have lots of triggers warnings. But keep an open mind when you read this book and the entire series. We all may experience some kind of trauma or have a story no one knows. But this is a dark spicy book but it’s a great book. I can’t wait to read more.. I couldn’t put any of these books down from her book of shadows series. ) One person found this helpful
