OH HELL YES—Green-Eyed Monster by Rawnie Sabor is exactly the kind of sapphic demon-witch enemies-to-lovers chaos I crave at 2am when I want to feel destroyed and mended at the same time. This series?? A full-blown obsession. Book three in the Court of Chains series is all about Envy, so of course it’s gonna get dark. I can't get enough of this series and didn't ever want to put it down. As much as I loved the last book with Pride, I was eagerly awaiting Vex's story ever since being introduced. I think of all the sins, Envy has to be one of the most complicated, if not the most. Not just as a deadly sin but as an entity of Sin. The complexities that fester in an Envy demon made Vex unnervingly relatable to me in certain ways which oddly enough, gave her some humanity in a way. And it was fascinating to see...

This was by far my favorite book of this year and one that will be going in my Read Again pile. I love the author's character development. She really has a knack for guiding the reader through the character's motivations, sort of fitting for books based on the Deadly Sins. Also, the spice is super hot, did I mention that? I also highly recommend the previous books in the series, but it isn't a requirement, the author provides a great world rundown right in the beginning that makes it easy to...

somewhat predictable but it kept you on your toes because it we hard to tell when or how things would happen. So that kept me turning the page. Too many words sometimes. Perfect amount of spice. Pretty )

This series is one of my favorites anyhow, and this book just cements that. It ticks all my boxes for a fantasy: dark, delicious romance, wonderfully detailed character development, spice that totally fits the story, gritty action with an emotionally gripping plot, and a world that I just want more of. Best of all, each book can be read as a stand-alone, and the author does a nice glossary of relevant terms in the beginning to make it easy to re-engage seamlessly. I can’t wait for Maya’s story,...
