A Magnetic Masterpiece.

This is one of the best novels I have ever read. It is thoroughly enjoyable to read while also feeling like quality literature with its setting, characters, issues, and premise. The characters are so enjoyable and I wish I had a Howie and Lenny of my own. At the heart of this book is a journey to Fire Island in years past. I am proud that this book will keep memories of a time and place in gay culture alive. It really expresses the fear and worry of the time, but also the spaces we could be our joyful selves as well. For me, the 5-star parts of this book were the bar scenes. So much fun to read. This book is well-written, fun, and needs to be taken quite un-seriously. You will keep reading until your Kindle hits you in the nose because you are too tired to see.
