The characters are delightful and keep the story line interesting. I love ed the camping trip to the summer solstice. I would Have enjoyed a tent like that when I go camping. )

This is the 4th book of the series. I enjoy that the author focuses on relationships and moving through the character's everyday life without explicit sex scenes and little cursing. I enjoy Rosemary and Athena in their separate storylines and together. The supporting characters are also enjoyable. I was a bit confused about what happened to Liam between book 3 to 4 and why Rosemary's interaction with him has dwindled. Perhaps it will be exp!bored in another installment? This reader has just finished reading the fourth of the Myrtlewood Mysteries book series. Each has been enjoyable. All have interesting characters, and this reader has become more involved with Myrtlewood life with each book. The lives of the two main charters, mother and daughter, Rosemary and Athena Thorn, respectively, are progressing nicely. Their powers are developing to the point that they're useful in a crisis. I can only use the \"It's my birthday month\" excuse so many times. I'm reading this series so fast! The characters are wonderful, & you never know what creature is going to cause trouble next. In this book, the only thing that surprised me was not using Una's memory potion/spray from the last book for the people appearing from the water. I couldn't understand why that wasn't the first thing tried on them. But, it's not my story, so I guess it would've messed with the plot. Other than that,...
