Until the Heart Stops gives us Witches, Vampires, and what I can imagine to be Lycanthropes during a war time. The MFC is torn between her secret admirer and a mysterious stranger who has made his presence more known. The way our MMC pines over our MFC is sweet at first, but evolves into something deliciously spicy. This book was so so so good, I could not put it down. I will 100% read it again! )

This book was a bit confusing to start but picked up about 60 pages in. Overall I liked it but wish there was a bit more world building. Hopefully book 2 will provide more! )

I adored this! It was such a fast read for me because I couldn’t put it down! I loved the main characters and omg the loooooonging! I know that’s something people have been looking for lately in their reads and lemme tell you- this delivers! I’m also a total sucker for letter writing and found that aspect of this book so romantic! Beyond that I loved the mythology of the gods in this and the world that Ms. West created! Until the Heart Stops is one of those books that grips you from the first chapter and refuses to let go! Loved the French influence in the language and the Latin phrasing for older terms of witchcraft. Fantastic with historical accuracy/phrasing. The pacing is great, and it never sacrifices emotional depth for shock value.
