All's Fair in Love and Blood

What begins as a series of steamy, late-night fantasies following a mysterious portal opening quickly spirals into a terrifying, blood-soaked reality. For one young woman, the monsters she once invited into her subconscious are no longer confined to the shadows of her bedroom. When she wakes to find three lethal vampires feeding on her, the line between her wildest desires and her worst nightmares vanishes, leaving her trapped in a dangerous game she never intended to play.
As a gripping entry in the paranormal romance genre, this story masterfully blends suspense with heart-pumping spice. It leans heavily into the forbidden-love trope, forcing the protagonist to navigate a treacherous dynamic with her captors while uncovering the truth behind why they call her a sigil. Just as she begins to unravel the mystery of her own connection to these lethal beings, she finds herself transformed, thrust into a new existence as a turned-newborn vampire struggling to maintain control.
Perfect for readers who crave high-stakes tension and dark, atmospheric world-building, this addictive tale delivers a visceral experience. With an ensemble cast and a plot that keeps you guessing, it is a must-read for anyone looking to sink their teeth into a provocative, supernatural thrill ride.

I want to start the I love this world that has been created and I love that the stories overlap in time but you can still read these as a standalone. Each of these books so far have there own personalities but go together seamlessly. This book is about Scarlett, Cain, Sabre and Cage. You meet the guys in the first book but their stories are a mystery that unravel in this book as they meet their mate Scarlett. Scarlett is an awesome character who has a backbone and has grown up in a world were...

The world is really interesting. The info for the book is slightly misleading. I like Scarlett, she's a strong character with the power to see people's true intentions. She suffers from severe night terrors and is worried she's going insane. Although the men do eventually enter her dreams, the vast majority of the book is just Cain doing so. The other two are stuck in another world and are like a side story for 2/3 of the book. It is a standalone but the extra chapters at the end lead into...

I enjoyed this story, got lost in it and cared about the characters. I felt the author did a good job of distinguishing what was dream and what was reality. Readers should keep in mind that this is a slow burn if you are expecting lots of spice right away. I didn’t get bored with this one, it held my interest and made me want to know more. ) 2 people found this helpful

The second book in the Monster Night series, Their Blood Queen does function as a standalone novel if you choose to read it that way. Mention of other characters from book one are explained well enough without having to read that novel, though I do recommend it as well. This is a fated mates, reverse harem story. MMF, MF, voyeurism, monsters. TW include bl00d. Overall, I would rate the spice level around 3/5. It’s a fun and quick read. ) 5 people found this helpful
