Exciting continuation of the Coven universe, filled with powerful magic, danger, and emotional twists. The story follows Frankie as she discovers more about her powers and the role she must play in the magical world. Wow, the more I read this series the move I fall in love. This author is talented. Her ability to create complex characters and story lines amazes me. I also love how we get hints and bread crumbs that lead to the answers we seek! There was some lull at the beginning of the book, which I think is to be expected as the “general catch up” has to happen to remind readers what details they may have forgotten but once we got Frankie’s POV near exclusively, I couldn’t put the book down. I've been invested in Frankie's journey since the night of the car crash. We've been held in suspense for so long, this book finally fills in the storyline and it does not disappoint. You can feel the battle being setup between the Coven and Lilith; all the pieces are being put into place and their stories are what brought them here. This book is Frankie's masterpiece. One of the best books in the series! I loved the interaction of the characters but most of all, how the development of the story made me interpret in a different way reactions and moments from the previous books. What I can certainly say is that Chandelle evolves greatly as a writer in each of her books, the coven saga is absolutely brilliant and I honestly cannot think that at some point the series will be concluded and I won’t have another book to expect )
