In the shadows and flames, Primals will fall…
And from the blood and ash, new gods will rise.
What was dreamt.
Poppy was never meant to awaken, and the consequences are devastating and far-reaching, stirring ancient powers from their slumber and transforming Casteel and Kieran in ways even the Fates couldn’t have foreseen. But what that means is the least of their concerns. For now.
What was foreseen.
The Blood Crown has fallen, but what has risen is a far greater danger than they’ve ever faced. From flesh and fire, the Great Conspirator has returned to the mortal realm, and he wants only one thing. They must stop the true Primal of Death before he regains his strength, and it won’t be easy. Even weakened, his influence is undeniable. His power, unthinkable.
Has come to be.
While the future of the realms rests upon them, they won’t stand alone. The gods have awakened—each harboring their own blood-soaked secrets. But they must navigate an unbalanced realm, where every choice—past and present—has the potential to not only undo everything they’ve fought for but also destroy the very bonds that have Joined them together.
For the Harbinger and the Bringer of Death and Destruction has risen.

NOT SPOILER FREE If you haven't finished Primal and don't want spoilers, don't read on. I didn't think I could hate Kolis more. Boy, was I wrong. The father into the book I go the more that hate grows. I look forward to his death. Starting with Poppy being in stasis for like ever, we see the love Cas has for her. Even to the point of almost obsession which made me nervous...like hello Kolis... At least I don't think that is happening but there is definitely something going on with Cas. The...

The Primal of Blood and Bone is Book #6 in the Blood and Ash series. This is truly a series with a continuing storyline, so please do not try to start with this book. It’s easy to get a little confused even with reading the books release order, so you have no chance otherwise (seriously I need to re-read to create a summary). The Blood and Ash series is also tightly connected to the Flesh and Fire series, so I would recommend reading in the order the books are released for both series. This...

Spoilers..... I am a huge fan of the storyline but this book was very disappointing, there was no reason to make Cas the way he was, there was no reason to cut Keiran out of the majority of the book, there was no reason for the entire plot to be depressing AF. The relationship that had formed was beautiful, this book destroyed it, there was more sex than actually speaking to each other, the relationships were so sullied that wasn't even enjoyable. Why would Poppy ever let Keiran be ignored and...

I loved this book! I’ve seen a lot getting bored or not finishing this. For me this wasn’t the case. I will say this does start slow. Not a lot changes or happens until around chapter 12. From there things do pick up and continue to do so. Cas was a bit different but, he was also his yummy, smart mouthed, fun self as things moved along. Cas and Kieran also had issues in this book and while I did find that frustrating and it did change the vibe of these characters some, I understood by the end....
