All's Fair in Love and Blood

Waking up in a hospital bed feels like a glitch in reality for a girl whose memories refuse to align with the doctors' clinical explanations. The truth is far more dangerous than a coma recovery: she is a witch, and her survival was bought at a supernatural price she cannot yet recall. Plunged into a clandestine community of magic-wielders, she struggles to reconcile her mundane past with a burgeoning power that threatens to consume her entirely.
This gripping installment of the Coven series masterfully blends the high-stakes world of vampire lore with the intricate mysteries of witchcraft. As she navigates this new existence, the story leans heavily into the tension of a second-chance romance, where fragmented memories of a past life haunt her every step. She is a woman caught between two worlds, desperately trying to discern if the shadows looming in her periphery are figments of a fractured mind or a lethal threat hunting her down.
If you are craving a paranormal romance that layers character-driven drama over a foundation of dark, atmospheric magic, this is your next obsession. The narrative expertly balances internal discovery with the chilling reality of being a turned newborn in a world where secrets are as deadly as the monsters lurking in the night.

This book continues with members of the vampires and the coven leading thru current lives, past lives and hints at what will be. The fantastic character development continues in Porion Witch leaving you fully immersed in the story and rung out when it's over. )

I half listened and half read the book. And I agree with the others, that Frankie's voice is nasal most of the time like her nose is plugged up. The book is very very very GOOD! But the audiobook voice for Frankie is horrible. She's done a GREAT job in all the books in the Coven series so far except for Frankie's voice. Hopefully the next book the reader will do better )

Ma’am you have some explaining to do. I reread the series so I could read The Potion Witch knowing what was going on, but you did us dirty. AND I’LL BE BACK FOR MORE. If you’re looking for a great series or metaverse, this is it. Hands down. Chandelle is such an amazing writer. Her characters come to life and you root for each and every one of them. It’s insane. The first season is about Tegan finding out she’s not only a twin, a witch the High Priestess no less, but part of a prophecy. The...

Unlike all the other Coven series books, this one took quite a while to get going. 70% into the book and finally, it got interesting. A lot of time (and pages) were spent on back stories and new character development. I hope there was a reason for it. The time lapse of 2 weeks in the book felt like two weeks when reading it. Not my favorite. Still unclear what Frankie’s special magic is. Potions, for the “Potion Witch” were hardly a highlight of the book. But, that all said, I still cannot wait...
