Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

He is the last vampire king, and he has finally found his mate.
Michael Aristov survived the massacre that erased his race. Now an immortal predator hiding in the nightclubs of Los Angeles, he longs for vengeance and hungers for the woman whose blood can restore his power.
Claire Thompson survives by stealing from men who underestimate her. Fast, fearless, and sharp-tongued, she never planned on crossing a monster until one claims her.
The moment their fated-mate bond ignites, it does more than tie them together. It makes him stronger and paints a target on her back.
The Slayers who massacred his kind are still watching. They will kill her to destroy him.
Claire has spent her life running from danger. Now she must choose.
Walk away from the immortal king who would burn the world for her.
Or step into the shadows beside him and become something far more dangerous than prey.
Explicit open-door heat. Fated mates. Immortal alpha vampire and defiant street thief. A power bond that could resurrect a kingdom or get them both killed.

I always read the romances where the guy looks (that is, if the author can write well enough that the reader can picture the guy) just like the guys I went out with when I was 20 to 30 years old. They had to meet my 10 point criteria. (over 6'2\"; very clean; with well kept hands and feet; no five o'clock shadows; my skin is very soft; no v's to the groin - I don't like skinny guys; no bulging blue veins on forearms - I don't like skinny guys; no girly butts; big brown eyes that smile when he...

Claire is a hustler, sorta. She only does it when she has to. She hustles only who look like they can afford it. And she hates it. When she sees Michael she thinks he will do. What she doesn't expect is the instant attraction. They are meant to be and their are others who will kill to stop it. This was a well told story of a new world with vampires and other paranormal creatures. I love that it does not some like all the other books. Looking forward to reading more of this world. This book has...

I am always on the lookout for a new paranormal romance to try, it is my favorite genre after all. The Last True Vampire is the first book in the Last True Vampire series and it overall was good, I had hoped it would have been great but for me it missed that mark. I enjoyed the premise but had a hard time liking Claire throughout the book. She is first introduced to us as a street hustler and pickpocket, doing that she needs to pay her rent when she is short. At first I thought oh I think I am...

This was an excellent story with lots of twists and turns and plenty of action. It really had a good plot that kept you on your toes and wanting to keep on reading it till the very end. I will be sure and recommend this series to others. If they are anything like me, they will get hooked with the very first chapter. ) One person found this helpful

This was a book with all things I look for in a new world. Mikhail has been tortured enough and it is time for him to find his mate. Claire is the kick butt mate for him. They have a few hurdles to get by but they do and together they will face the future complications. Can't wait for the next story in this World. These stories are steamy.. ) 3 people found this helpful
