Step into the neon-lit, dust-swept landscapes of Harmony, a futuristic colony planet where the ghosts are real and the stakes are life-or-death. In this gripping installment of the beloved Ghost Hunter series, readers are treated to a high-octane blend of paranormal romance and suspense. If you crave stories featuring grumpy-sunshine dynamics, forced proximity, and enemies-to-lovers tension, this is the perfect addition to your reading list.
Celinda Ingram, a professional matchmaker with her own hidden psychic talents, finds herself in a bind: she needs a bodyguard who can pass as a date for her sister’s wedding. Enter Davis Oakes, a rugged security expert from the mysterious Ghost Hunter’s Guild. Davis is as cynical as they come, and Celinda is wary of anyone linked to the dangerous Guild. Their initial clash is inevitable, but their mutual distrust quickly gives way to undeniable chemistry as they navigate the treacherous, haunted underbelly of their world.
Beyond the witty banter and simmering attraction, the story excels at world-building, introducing fresh psi-talents that expand the lore of Harmony. As an unseen menace closes in, this unlikely duo must drop their defenses to survive. It is a thrilling, fun, and fast-paced escape into a unique paranormal universe.

Though this is labeled book four in the series, it is actually book five of the Harmony Series: Bridal Jitters, After Dark, After Glow, and Ghost Hunter coming first; though Bridal Jitters is a novella, and After Dark with After Glow tell the story of one couple- who make a cameo appearance in this book. This one features marriage consultant Celinda Ingram, ghost hunter (of a special kind) and P.I. Davis Oakes, and their two dust bunnies Araminta and Max respectively. When Davis meets Celinda,...

Another wonderful read by Jayne Castle aka Jayne Ann Krentz. With this return to the planet Harmony we find there are other kinds of Ghosthunters who wield a different kind of psi. We now have Green, Blue and Silver. No matter where or when you read a Jayne Castle, Amanda Quick or Jayne Ann Krentz we get that magic that only she weaves into her romances. I love the fact she tells her stories from both the hero and heroine's point of view. Celinda Ingram is a matchmaker, she has the ability to...

Okay. We're back in Harmony (technically a re-read for me, although I read it long enough ago that I really didn't remember the details about how things played out. Which is kind of neat because it's all new again when that happens.) and THINGS ARE HAPPENING. As you might expect. This time around we have Celinda and Davis and, well, things aren't easy for them. His talents range down the not-often-seen level of the psi-spectrum. Hers is also a little outside the norm, but not quite at the...

I love how the author keeps coming up with new abilities for the characters. The romance is standard RS fare, with a masculine, protective hero, and a strong feminine heroine. There’s less of a mystery here, more just catching and dealing with the villain/s. Still, the suspense is good and, well DUST BUNNIES (c’mon, we all want one, at least as much as we want a hero like David). This is a solid next book in the series, which I am much enjoying. I would start at the beginning, with After Dark,...

SILVER MASTER is the fourth book in the Harmony series. The Harmony series is a futuristic paranormal romantic suspense series about an earth colony which was cut off from earth and where psychic abilities have been developing in humans. This book is the story of Celinda Ingram, a matchmaker building a new life after a horrendous scandal. She meets security specialist Davis Oakes when he comes in search of a missing relic. She is determined to stay away from him even while they are deeply...
