Cozy heartwarming and hilarious. Lovable characters that instantly win you over and a plot that’s not to think and heavy but is engaging enough so that the story moves forward. Great weekend read! )

A fantastic second book in a duo - in fact, I think I liked it even more than the first book! This preference is likely due to my affinity for Amelia - a buttoned up CPA buried in her work with little excitement in her life, outside a very odd client that she can't seem to figure out. Enter Reginald - infamous vampire, known for some not so great things as well as his love of pranks, and his awful, fuzzy, fur coat that he has unfortunately named. A funny and easy read! There were times I felt the story dragged a bit and had to push myself to pick up the book again. But once I did I got sucked into the plot and the characters. I enjoyed Reggie, his golden retriever ways were so cute and I just wanted to read more about him. Amelia was interesting, I found her life a bit inspiring having a career and a life of her own. Though I disliked how much her parents/family would push her and disregard her life and feelings. Not really standing up...

We finally get dual POV; which we didn’t for book 1 and I was so bummed. I think I liked book 1 better because Frederick was so out of sync with the modern world so it made his story with Cassie that much better. Jenna Levine, please give us another book about Frederick and Cassie!! I still really enjoyed this one! The miscommunication trope in this book is the best! Who doesn’t love a snowed in trope? THE THAMES GAMES. 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ )

Love this author and her book series. I think the first book was a bit better but it’s always fun to follow Reggie on his adventure! Also love the cover for this book. It’s easy to read from and doesn’t fray or bend so you can easily reread it. Can’t wait to read the third book :) )
