WARNING: Do not, I repeat do NOT crack the cover of this book unless you have the time to both begin and finish it! Excellent, excellent addition to the series! In Lover Unleashed Ward weaves together several storylines: The first is the story of Vishous's twin sister, Payne, and the human surgeon Manny Manuello. The book starts off with Payne in the infirmary, having suffered a broken back at the end of the last book. It's not easy to say what I'm thinking. I should probably let a day go by. I think there's something missing. I don't know what. The chapters with De La Cruz, Butch's old buddy in the police, are page fillers. Sorry. His new colleague is a guy who'll be the protagonist of the next book in the Fallen Angels series.
