Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

by Charlaine Harris
Charlaine Harris' popular Southern Vampire mysteries have been described by Publishers Weekly as "humorous Southern-fried fantasy" with a little bit of romance. In the follow up to Dead Until Dark, telepathic friend of the undead (and vampire bar cocktail waitress) Sookie Stackhouse puts her newfound powers to the test. After an unfortunate incident, Sookie finds herself beholden to a group of Louisiana vampires. So she agrees to travel to Dallas with her undead boyfriend Bill and track down a missing vamp, but only if the vampires promise to let local humans go unharmed. That seems easier said than done when an upstart religious cult threatens to destroy all things vampire - including Sookie, who is quickly scheduled for sacrifice.

Sookie Stackhouse, the attractive, telepathic barmaid from Bon Temps, LA, is back in \"Living Dead In Dallas,\" Book 2 of Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series. Sookie's heretofore lonely life as a single is no more. She is in love and the feeling is reciprocated. Folks in her backwater northern Louisiana town always treated her as if she had a disability. They made her feel ashamed of her \"gift,\" the ability to read other people's minds. What were they thinking?? The major disadvantages...

Another great addition to the Sookie Stackhouse adventures! This books are a great read. Fast paced, interesting, and just a great story all around. I found the Fellowship of the Sun very interesting. Godfrey character was very well written by Harris. She really made you feel for him... honestly she makes you feel for all of the characters. I like that Sookie finally found someone that has the same gift as here, which really helped her out when the Fellowship had her. I enjoyed Eric...
