Lassiter is a book that many fans of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series have been waiting for. He's a character that sticks in your mind. I must admit that although he wasn't one of my top BDB characters, I was very curious and interested to see what sort of HEA he would get, especially after seeing that gorgeous cover! Wow! I just like to sit and look at that beauty! I wasn't disappointed. I thought Lassiter was a terrific way to wrap up this part of the series and take it in a fresh...

There is so much to unpack in this book. It is a roller-coaster of emotions for sure, and there are parts that I didn't see coming. I loved the story of Lassiter and Rahvyn. Lassiter seems like a different character in this book than in the past (I get why...Devina), but I miss the old him throughout the book. That I feel was the most disappointing to me in this book. I loved it and I don’t care. Big 5 stars for the feels, the love and twenty years of this series! The real ones know 🤩 Lassiter has always been the comic relief in any of his previous appearances, so it was a bit different for a change to get into his darker moments.
