Just terrific! Great action and HEA for Lassiter!

Lassiter is a book that many fans of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series have been waiting for. He's a character that sticks in your mind. I must admit that although he wasn't one of my top BDB characters, I was very curious and interested to see what sort of HEA he would get, especially after seeing that gorgeous cover! Wow! I just like to sit and look at that beauty! I wasn't disappointed. I thought Lassiter was a terrific way to wrap up this part of the series and take it in a fresh...

Ward shakes things up so buckle up

Lassiter Black Dagger Brotherhood #21 JR Ward Taking a phrase from any of the brothers, Holy F-Bomb I mean when the warden wants to shake things up she doesn’t put on her blinker, oh no, she goes through the intersection at mach speed. Well, I’m getting ahead of myself so let me start from the beginning, then I’ll go off on a tangent But never fear my review is as always spoiler free. 😉 Lassiter is a revelation, a fast paced from beginning to end twisty turny explosive series evolution....

You can never go wrong with the BDB series..

There is so much to unpack in this book. It is a roller-coaster of emotions for sure, and there are parts that I didn't see coming. I loved the story of Lassiter and Rahvyn. Lassiter seems like a different character in this book than in the past (I get why...Devina), but I miss the old him throughout the book. That I feel was the most disappointing to me in this book. Rahvyn came out of her shell, and I was definitely happy when that happened. She's a force to be reckoned with, and I hope that...

Spoiler Free Review: This is a good addition to the series

CAST The main players in this book: Lassiter, Rahvyn, Devina, Lash, Wrath, [spoiler], [spolier], V Players with smaller parts in terms of page space, but major in terms of significance: Beth, Fritz, The Book (it is sentient...I'm counting it) Minor players: Nate, Shuli, George, Boo, Sahvage Characters who should have been players but aren't: Xhex, John Matthew, Quinn, Blaylock PLOT POINTS (spoiler free.... I think) First bit of criticism: Ward has created such a large cast, it is hard for her...

Lassiter and the Brothers

I loved it and I don’t care. Big 5 stars for the feels, the love and twenty years of this series! The real ones know 🤩 Lassiter has always been the comic relief in any of his previous appearances, so it was a bit different for a change to get into his darker moments. Most of his and Rahvyn’s story felt a little rushed, there was a lot happening in this book so understandably and maybe unfortunately (judging by some other reviews) people weren’t happy with that. It’s okay 🤷🏻‍♀️ From the...
