by Jessica Cage
The second book in the hugely popular hilarious supernatural romance Accidents Happen series by USA TODAY bestselling author Jessica Cage, where a young woman named Whitney accidentally hooks up with a drop-dead gorgeous vampire, only to find that when her blood pressure rises, the undead just may come calling...
Who needs a job when you just signed a new mortgage?
When Whitney Harris loses her dream job as an art broker, she drowns her sorrows in a few too many cocktails. But her night takes a turn for the bizarre when she accidentally hooks up with Domino, a drop-dead gorgeous vampire with a flair for the dramatic and a taste for trouble.
Now, instead of just worrying about her next paycheck, Whitney finds herself in a world where Domino’s vampire affiliates have their sights set on her—because she’s special. Duh!
As she navigates this unexpected romance, she discovers her friends have their own supernatural secrets: spells and daggers anyone?
With danger lurking in every shadow, Whitney must figure out how to survive this new chaotic reality. Can she embrace her wild side, save her heart (and neck), and turn the tables on fate before she becomes a vampire's main course?
Get ready for a laugh-out-loud adventure filled with love, friendship, and a whole lot of supernatural shenanigans!

OMG!! I received this book as an ARC read and this is not the first nor the last book that I will read from Jessica! 1. Dandruff Darla?! #weak 2. Thank you for the representation through description and conversation! 3.) Okay GIRL SQUAD!! Was not prepared for how powerful the trio is! I love books that do representation correctly! The relationships are relatable and the banter is serving! This was a great read to have while taking a break between some of the longer series that I am currently...

I really did enjoy this book from start to finish! (Spoiler free) 🩸 I LOVE the FMC, I loved the representation that she is also curvy 🩸 The characters introduce were written well, and I love how they were connected to the plot in some fantasy type of way 🩸 The plot had me HOOKED! And this book is worth a reread. I always caught myself laughing, smiling, or my jaw was dropping! )

This book was rocking from the beginning to the end! It was the Vampire tale I have been searching for for YEARS. People I can identify with, characters I can empathize with -even the ornery cat- , and a romance that set the sheets on fire (Not literally, cause \"VAMPIRE!\"). But this novel definitely has all the makings of becoming an all time favorite for me. Thank you to the author for this wonderful work. )

This book was incredibly funny and entertaining. I couldn't put it down. It felt like I was reading characters that I could really relate to and in some cases wanted to be. )

Overall I kind of enjoyed this book. It hooked me at the very beginning and I was loving it until I got to the middle. Let's see... Domino is a very sexy vampire. I mean the description of him is dreamy and scrumptious! I loved every scene he had with the fmc Whitney. Their love scenes were very spicy and very sexy!! I loved how a gorgeous man loved a plus sized beauty! Overall this book was hilarious and had lots of funny parts but in a way after a while it became immature and a little too...
