The stakes have never been higher for Thea Melbourne and Julian Rousseaux. After choosing each other against the backdrop of the cutthroat vampire elite, the couple returns to a world teetering on the edge of catastrophe. As the Solstice approaches, they are forced to navigate a labyrinth of treacherous alliances and dark family secrets that threaten to tear their fragile union apart. For readers who crave high-stakes paranormal romance, this installment delivers a lethal blend of opulence and danger.
Julian is finally forced to confront the haunting shadows of his past, while Thea discovers that the magic coursing through her veins is far more volatile than she ever imagined. As a newborn vampire still grappling with her transformation, Thea must find her strength before the looming war consumes everything she loves. The slow-burn tension between the leads remains electric, even as the world around them descends into chaos.
Packed with shocking twists and narrative explosions, this is a must-read for fans of the series. While the glamorous setting draws you in, the moral ambiguity and relentless pacing will keep you turning pages long into the night. Will their love survive the ultimate price, or will they be the next casualties of the elite?

This book was full of twists and things you didn't see coming or things coming in slightly different ways than you'd expect. This was a good addition to the series, but it definitely needs to be read in order. While I'm loving this series I will say I generally prefer single pov or dual pic at most. This series does throw in some additional points of view from secondary characters, which does add depth to the story but personal preference not my first choice but it is done well. This book...

The title makes me raise my eyebrow because it seems a little too reminiscent of another super popular book 🤔 🤨 But for all its over the top occasionally kitschy tropes, it’s still a really fun and exciting book. I started with Filthy Rich Fae and liked it enough to try this series. I’m glad I did because the forbidden love, vampire magic, twisty political machinations and spicy scenes work together together to make a really fun story. )

If you thought the last two books filled with Thea Melbourne and Julian Rousseaux’s romance and adventures were wild and wonderful, you haven’t seen anything yet! This book begins in a glamoured beachside town in Greece, hidden and protected by vampires and familiars for longer than anyone can remember. Julian and Thea are there for the Solstice gathering and Julian’s matriarchal mother has finally openly acknowledged their engagement. Julian’s brother Lysander is an archaeologist and has...

Good Read: yes. Characters: Thea & Julian. Spice: 🌶🌶🌶 Storyline: I have really enjoyed this series of books until the ending of the third book. We have now moved onto same sex encounters, got to have one in every book these days, a young woman who is now all that. She rules and is more powerful than her mate. Why can't we leave the guy to the hero and the woman who are strong but leave her slightly vulnerable and let her mate take care of her. Always trying to make the heroine strongest. I...
