Julian Rousseaux has a problem. He's single, and for the world's wealthiest vampires, the social season is about to begin. But as the eldest, eligible Rousseaux he's expected to find a wife before the season ends—whether he likes it or not.
When cellist Thea literally stumbles into his life at a gala, he knows she's the last person he could ever fall in love with. She's too innocent, too kind, and way too human. But now that she knows about his world, she's also a walking target. He needs a fake girlfriend to discourage overzealous vampire matchmaking.
So, Julian makes Thea an irresistible offer: pretend to be his lover and he'll change her life. For one year, they'll attend the season's social events together in exchange for his protection and a way out of her mother's crippling medical debt.
But the vampire world is impossibly decadent and darker than Thea ever imagined, and Julian's filthy rich vampire family wants her out of the way. But with each moment they share, new dangers emerge: a desire as forbidden as their stolen touches, an awakening of a long-dead heart, and secrets that could tear them both apart.
Contains mature themes.

Filthy Rich Vampires is a trope-driven vampire romance that leans into fake dating, fated mates, and complex family dynamics within a dark, high-society setting. The atmosphere stands out, with a strong sense of luxury and danger woven throughout the story. The world of vampire elite feels immersive and consistent, adding to the overall appeal. Julian is portrayed as a powerful and protective character, though at times his behavior can be frustrating. Thea provides a good balance, showing...

51 episodes of a Kindle Vella story, but into a book format. If you enjoy the Vella format, the story continues there; if not, there’s a cliffhanger and the second book is planned for Fall 2022. Vampire and human, forbidden romance, fake relationship, suspense, age gap (though I guess all vampire/human love stories involve an age gap). From the first few chapters I knew I was going to enjoy this. While the author doesn’t follow all of the traditional rules/behaviors of a vampire, the are some...

If I had to sum up this book in one sentence, it would be \"Ancient powerful vampire with untold resources turns into a puddle for his little mortal.\" There's more to it than that, but I stand by it. Thea is a human working multiple jobs to scrape by, on the cusp of graduating as a stellar cellist. Julian is the eldest son of the Rousseaux vampire family, unhappy to be newly awake from a three-decade nap. The two don't belong in each other's worlds, but it seems nothing will stop fate from...

I had a very entertaining time reading this and can’t wait to start on the second book. There is a lot of miscommunication but if you are okay with that trope this book is for you. Hot rich vampire. I also like that the female main character is 22 and not still in her teen years. Read content warnings. )

Thea Melbourne is an inspired cellist, but she is also a waitress, a roomate and the daughter of a cancer survivor with huge medical bills. When she was escorted home by a gorgeous man who claimed to be a vampire trying to avoid being married off by his family, Thea ignores everything except the gorgeous guy part. The marriage part Thea believed immediately since they were obviously richer than rich, but the vampire part… well all those people were remarkably attractive. Julian Rousseaux was...
