All's Fair in Love and Blood

by Caroline Peckham
The sky is burning, and the Waning Lands are drowning in a tide of blood and ancient secrets. As a newly turned vampire struggling to find her footing in a world of monsters, our protagonist is no longer just a pawn in a global war; she is a ticking time bomb. Haunted by grief and surrounded by the wreckage of a fractured society, she finds herself caught between the duty she was forced into and a burgeoning, dangerous hunger for the very people she should be fighting.
This gripping paranormal romance masterfully explores the isolation of a newborn vampire thrust into a lethal political game. The narrative thrives on high-stakes tension, pulling readers into a landscape where the stars themselves seem to be orchestrating a slow, inevitable rot. With every page, the lines between hero and villain blur, forcing a choice that could either save a dying world or accelerate its total annihilation.
Echo Fort is an emotionally feral experience that scorches the board, leaving readers breathless and desperate for the next installment. It is a devastating, jaw-clenching journey through a dark mythology where forbidden desires collide with catastrophic destiny. If you crave intense, character-driven vampire fiction that will keep you up all night, this is the addictive series you have been waiting for.

Echo Fort doesn’t just raise the stakes—it scorches the board and dares you to keep playing. This book is intense, emotionally feral, and jaw-clenching in the best possible way. Let’s talk about Vesper Crossborn, our Aquarian queen. Her rebellious spirit and sharp mind are on full display as she carves a space for herself in a world that wants...

Echo Fort by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti 4.5 stars A note before I started Echo Fort: Never Keep was the first book I read by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. I joined a book club last year and this was the first book we read. I had no clue what I was getting into. After finishing it, I read the 9 Zodiac Academy books as well as their Age of Vampires series. I am so much more excited about Echo Fort after reading ZA. I think I have a better understanding of the world going into...

I’m actually bonded to these people. Kaiser, Everest, Vesper, Bastian. Even Harlon and Galomp have my heart. I love this world and the story so much. It has everything you could ever want. Yearning, tension, enemies to lovers, action, trials, betrayal, friendship, magic and really just a good darn time. You...
