The walls between the human world and the treacherous Fae realm have shattered, unleashing an ancient, icy darkness upon Dublin. MacKayla Lane, once a woman seeking simple answers, finds herself trapped in a nightmare. Captured by the ruthless Fae Lord Master and stripped of her memories, she is forced to navigate a labyrinth of deceit where enemies masquerade as allies and every shadow hides a lethal secret.
This pulse-pounding installment of the beloved urban fantasy series masterfully blends dark paranormal romance with the gritty atmosphere of historical lore. As Mac fights to reclaim her identity, she is pulled into the heart of a soul-shattering conspiracy that threatens the very fabric of existence. The stakes have never been higher, and the line between survival and total destruction continues to blur with every page.

Honestly, I rarely bother with reviews, but this book -- nay, this series -- has captured my imagination so fiercely that I am driven to say something! Dreamfever is the most captivating and exciting book in this terrific series! I spent the majority of any spare time I have reading, mostly sci-fi/fantasy, but also in the romance genre. I have to say that this is the BEST series I've read since Lord of the Rings, which is the top of my list of all-time. Considering that I read pretty much...

You can guess from the book synopsis that Dreamfever is a dark story. But you should already know that if you read the first three books in the series. If you haven't you really need to go back and start with those because you will be very confused, possibly creeped out and definitely missing three amazing books. The moment Mac has dreaded - Halloween - has finally happened. The walls between our world and the Fae came crashing down and all the dark Fae, the Unseelie, have been released from...

4.5 Stars! Because I couldn’t possibly write a review for each of these books individually, this is a review of the original Fever series (books 1 through 5). Not only would it be too difficult to review them on an individual basis, but it just wasn’t going to happen because I couldn’t stop long enough between books to even be bothered to write a review. I devoured these books. This is so not my cup of tea. I’m a traditional girl. I like believability, relatability, and normalcy. I like...

5 Stars! I originally gave this book 4 stars for some strange reason. What on earth was I thinking?!?! This is a 5 star book without question. I have read it 3 times and plan to read many more time during my life. It really is that good. This book gives up the moment that we have all been waiting for - you know what I am talking about. Let me just say Chapters 4 and 5 - most fans know exactly what happens in those 2 chapters. I know I will always think of this book whenever I hear Chumbawamba's...

With all of Karen Marie Moning's books, I find myself reflecting upon the ending and working my way back through all of its implications and buildup. This book is no exception, though it is not without its frustrations. Dreamfever is an interesting, funny, sometimes confusing, and dark read that starts slow, settles into cruising mode, and then takes you on such a fast ride to the \"end\", which then pulls you up to a complete stop so that you are silently mouthing the same thing as Mac. That...
