I’m not going to try to hide it at all, I really enjoyed this book, and when it was over, I wanted to ask for another. It was definitely spicy, but had enough of a plot that it didn’t feel like a 1970’s porno. The main characters were real, and individuals you could get behind. I especially enjoyed that Allie was the same at the end as she was in the beginning in regards to her abilities. Great PNR novel featuring a sexy, demon hero and a sassy witch heroine. This is my first book by this author, and I must say it was surprisingly good for a debut novel. There were a handful of errors, but they didn't detract from the story. The world building was interesting. My biggest issue was that the whole novel took place over the span of like a week, with the first 90% happening over like 4 days. I can deal with instalove, especially in PNR with fated mates. I enjoyed this for the most part. Very promising actually. I am interested in seeing her evolve and grow in her writing. The spice is decent. The story premise great… execution a bit all over the place and pacing was off. I liked the h and H characters, more of a role reversal where the h is the dominant personality and the H is super soft.
