The Picture of Dorian Gray was already a masterpiece of literature, but Rebecca F Kenney's reimagining brings so much more life into the story. I enjoyed every moment. The internal struggles of both Dorian and Baz felt so rough and raw. Baz, dealing with the fallout of a youthful mistake, swears to never draw a portrait again. Dorian is desperate to continue his life of debauchery and guiltless pleasure. They are drawn to each other despite their differing views and have to find a way to work...

I absolutely ADORED this book, just like all her others. But this one is going in a slightly different direction and I love the representation and how it looks at the story through a different lens. Spice is spicing, story is storying and long story short you won’t regret this purchase but your wallet might because you can’t stop with just one!! )

Charming Devil had me from the start. Our FMC is amazing in her own right (looks and personality), and Dorian Gray was perfectly portrayed as the narcissistic jerk the classics warned us about. BUT ON TOP OF THAT, we have some very extra side characters, an intriguing extra magical secondary plot, and a push and pull love story that was as infuriating as it was alluring. The ending, I swear, took years off my life and lead right back to book one and hopefully into another epic book three. )...
