This book is fantastic. It's a great twist on the arranged marriage and even why choose. I thought the magic system here felt unique and new despite using familiar creatures. The storyline captured my attention and I appreciate the nods to Hispanic heritage. I love the cultures for each type of creature, and the lore is well developed as well.
