I thought it was a great little fast-paced book with murder mystery-esque vibes. An easy read coming home from the hospital and needing something to pull me in and get my mind off my sickness. The twists and tension were all great and I loved that it was an urban romantasy with wolf shifters. ) 7 people found this helpful

I really like Jen l. Grey's books. Every fall I get sucked into shifter romances and these really scratch the itch. Are the perfect, no. But do they keep me sucked in and on the edge of my seat the whole time, absolutely. ) 5 people found this helpful

Oh, what a tangled web Jen L. Grey has weaved in this strange and delicious story. I am loving it, and it is a quick read. I can't wait to see if what I think might be going on. So excited. )

I read this book through Kindle Unlimited and enjoyed it well enough. But, I am going to be petty. The use of the word ‘rasped’ started to annoy me. 17 times in book one, 18 times in book two, and 21 times in book three. (Once I noticed it I had to download the other two books just to see if it was only a quirk in the first book) I’m not an author or an editor so I don’t even know if this is considered too much or perfectly acceptable.
