I liked this book. I quite enjoyed it. This series keeps getting better. The third book is my favorite so far and I really like the glimpses into the characters past and seeing what made them who they are. In this book you see more of Elana and Raphael and the pain that made them who they are. You learn more about Elanas family and more about Raphael's childhood and archangel mother. I really like the glimpses and hints she gives us about different characters. I hope Raphael's Seven are...

First of all, this cover is absolutely stunning. I found myself staring at it for several minutes. I think it captures Elena beautifully and think that this series continues to have some of the best covers out there. Nalini Singh continues to provide some of the best paranormal books, I've ever read. (Elena and Raphael's story reminds me of the love story between Eve Dalls and Roarke, they live separate lives but are always crossing lines to help each other).
