by Casey Wolfe

About this book

Marcus was presumed dead, a casualty of the brutal Inquisition, until he was discovered shattered and broken within the walls of a desolate prison fortress. After enduring unimaginable torment, the vampire is finally free, but his rescue comes with a heavy price. Haunted by the echoes of his captivity and terrified that his internal darkness will consume his savior, Marcus struggles to find a reason to exist in a world that once tried to erase him.

Caleb, the man who defied death to pull Marcus from the abyss, refuses to let his mate fade away. Bound by an unbreakable connection, Caleb is determined to heal the physical and psychological scars that threaten to tear Marcus apart. Their journey is far from over, however, as the remnants of the Inquisition regroup to unleash chaos, forcing the pair into a desperate fight for survival.

This gripping installment of The Inquisition Trilogy masterfully blends high-stakes paranormal action with a soul-stirring dark romance. As they navigate a landscape of sinister plots and lingering trauma, Marcus and Caleb must rely on each other to face their enemies. If you crave intense emotional depth, fated mates, and a war for justice, this series is your next obsession.

A Vampire's Redemption is the second book in The Inquisition Trilogy. This is not a standalone, it must be read after A mage’s Power. At the end of the first book Caleb helped to free the prisoners of an experiment. This is Caleb’s story along with his soulmate Marcus, a vampire who he rescued. The world building continues to be fantastic! The relationship dynamics are awesome. There are some amazing secondary characters along with Rowan and Shaw. Overall, a great read that kept me engaged. When he goes to the last cell, to free the last one, one word came to mind. Mate. Quickly followed by ‘mine’. So this is Caleb and Marcus’s story. Marcus was caught off guard and captured by...

Somewhat disappointing.

Unlike the first book, there was no large problem/conflict that had to be solved. There were small conflicts that seemed to be resolved with no real effort, and then were quickly forgotten. The one that got me the most...
