Finally! We have a new book in the Soul Match series. This book felt a little different from the two before it. For one, the Academy plays a much smaller role than in previous books. The focus on the relationship between Selene and Percy is also more of a central part of the plot, and it's not all lovey dovey swoony stuff this time either. Why???? Whyyyyyy cliffhangers??? Every damn time. I’m dead. But I was 100% here for all the ridiculousness. Another great addition to the series. Thought it was just a trilogy but glad I was wrong bc that ending has got me stupid confused, but stupidly excited for the return of these nutballs. I was skeptical at first reading book one. I love the storyline, although at times frustrating, Percy and Selene grew on me. I blew through all three books in a few days. It was hard to put the books down because all the excitement and surprises. Can't wait to continue reading! )

I had the privilege of being given an advanced copy of this book. Happy to report that it was WONDERFUL!!! Selene and Percy are officially a couple! I loved seeing how vulnerable Selene could be, while still being her badass self. As Percy and Selene’s story progressing we are learning bits and pieces about Percy and her background. This story ends on a huge cliffhanger. It did not end in a good place. I must say that in this book I barely recognized Percy. I knew her character was growing in depth and character.
