A Light in the Flame is the second book of the Flesh and Fire series, and I got an ARC in exchange for an honest review. It was my first Jennifer L. Armentrout ARC, since I became part of the team, and it was something that I dreamed of for years now. I had high expectations for this book, and it didn’t disappoint. A Light in the Flame was a gripping and compelling follow up in the Flesh and Fire series. This book picks up immediately after the ending of A Shadow in the Ember, so I would highly recommend just reading that book first. I also suggest checking the content and trigger warnings before reading. I did have several theories on how the storyline would play out and I was pleasantly surprised by the direction of the story. This is by far Jennifer's best work! I don't know how she does it, but every book of hers is better than the prior one. \"A light in the flame\" is magnificent and I was not prepared for this. The plot twists, the prophecy twists, this entire book felt like a twist within a twist.
