All's Fair in Love and Blood
Jennifer Peel
by Brynne Weaver
Lu, the last of the ancient siren vampires, is no longer the hunter. After a devastating betrayal by the man she trusted, she finds herself imprisoned and experimented upon by the Shadow Realm. As a unique hybrid, she is the ultimate weapon in a brewing war between dimensions, but she refuses to be their pawn. When a daring escape thrusts her back into the world of the living, she must navigate a deadly race against time to protect her kind before the Shadow Realm’s dark plans come to fruition.
This neon-drenched paranormal romance masterfully balances high-stakes tension with sharp, biting humor. At its core is a volatile enemies-to-lovers dynamic that crackles with undeniable chemistry and heartbreak. Lu is a compelling protagonist, grappling with the trauma of her recent transformation while being forced to dismantle her own walls to survive.
Ashen, the executioner who shattered her trust, remains a constant, enigmatic presence in her wake. The lines between predator and prey blur as old secrets surface, forcing Lu to question everything she thought she knew about love and loyalty. If you are looking for a dark, spicy, and wickedly funny series that refuses to play by the rules, this is your next obsession.

When I tell you I laughed during this series, I mean a lot. The kind of laugh that bursts loudly out of me and startles my husband sitting next to me. The level of petty that Lu would stoop to was top notch and I loved her for it. The butter scene(s) had me cackling. It wasn’t only hilarious, though. This...
