This is one that made me laugh out loud at times, giggle at others & roll my eyes everywhere in between. i so loved the relationship that Wyatt has with his friends, that he recognized his own biases when it came to his views about homosexuality & the way he threw himself all in with Tanner even when he was afraid. i would have loved to see the pack realtionships & how they are either separated or intergrated with the humans. Besides the fated mates aspect, i didn’t really see a reason why...

This is another good book in this series. I am giving it a 4/5. This book is about two guys trying hard to win the approval of their fathers. Wyatt is a wolf shifter who is straight. He meets his mate at a conference. Wyatt’s mate is Tanner , a gay human. That is taboo for Wyatt’s pack. But they have sex and Wyatt leaves. They don’t see each other again until Tanner shows up at Wyatt’s office because he has to work for him or be disinherited by his father. Of course there is a lot tension...

I like how the story has the inner turmoil, like Wyatt can’t believe something completely opposite to what they are used to is happening to them. The tension that ensues with both of them, before they realize that it’s useless to fight it. And then there was the backstory with the fathers, whoa can we say curveball! )

This is the first book I read in the series and I started with it because the synopsis seemed intriguing to me. I was a little disappointed by all kinds of little things like the nicknames of dude and bro that repeated themselves too much and create a bit of distance in the relationship. Also the light dom/sub interaction that came out of nowhere during some of the sex scenes. I had higher expectations. ) 3 people found this helpful

Another great story from the Ombra Pack Chronicles. I'm ready to start the next book. Both stories are about different backgrounds, such as Real Estate business. B.L.Wolfe makes it work. Love them. ENJOY! )
