I Loved this out of the box take on shifters that is beautifully written and has been completely flipped it on its head. It has a slow burn, it is mature and open minded. I love the story. Wolf’s Bane is the first book in the Wolves Next Door series by Auryn Hadley. This turned out to be exactly what I’ve been craving. Alright so let me first say I've been looking forward to this book for almost a year when I asked Auryn if she'd ever thought of doing a shifter series and she teased me with this beauty. This was such a good start to a new series. At first I was like....im over wolves....and then i was like, an older woman with a kiddo? Not sure....but I know by now to just trust Auryn! So happy this book came out, it really helped my hangover from The Wrath of Angels that I had put off reading because I never wanted that series to end. Although the Wolves Next Door is a completely different series, I should have known your next series would help me move on. I was not expecting to love this one...

The book description and cover art did nothing to warn the reader this book was based on multiple partner. It’s NOT polygamous, as another reviewer mentioned. It’s merely polyamorous.
