Dom/sub. Bookish femme/skater masc. Touch her and die. Scorpion shifter. Fated mates. Religious trauma. Othering. Persecution. This book has it all in spades. So freaking refreshing to have two fully tattooed and pierced FMCs. Love love love. Venom Within Her is a fast-paced, short read that is brimming with semi-kinky spice. Rae does a commendable job building the accepting and stalwart relationship between Larz and Ilona no matter the othering and persecution they experience. Maybe it’s weird...

I’m a huge sucker for shifter romance novels and this one went above and beyond to give me all the angst, passion and wholesome love and unrestrained joy that makes my nerdy lesbian heart happy. I love this author’s stories and I can’t wait to read more books from her! )
