Elise Moreau, food critic, arrives at the restaurant under the mountain in Iceland. Her claustrophobia is not happy with the tunnels and closed in spaces, but she has dealt with her fear before. The food is amazing, the chef is surly, and he is a troll! Stenrik rarely leaves his shadowy mountain refuge. He creates culinary masterpieces and is safe from the world and sunlight. Thank you Sabrina Silvers for sending me this advance review copy for free. I am leaving this review voluntarily. This made me hungry the whole time, and the chapter titles were hilarious! I always adore a grumpy MC, and Stenrik is perfect. There is a warm gooey cinnamon roll center under all that brooding. He loves his family, even if they are deeply irritating at times. I loved all the little tidbits we got about his childhood, especially cooking with his mother. She loves to meddle with her...

Fun setup with a troll chef in an Icelandic setting! It’s a cute romance between a troll and a food critic. Elise and Stenrik have a bit of a rough start on connecting, but quickly realize that there’s an attraction. A bit of steam and sweetness! A quick, interesting read! )
