As always, another great book by Sara Ivy Hill! It's sweet, funny, spicy, has mystery/intrigue, and an adorable animal friend. Loved every page of this book - really the whole special series by all the authors. Go read them all! )

3.5 stars, but since I can’t do half stars in here, four stars it is. First, I like Sara Ivy Hill. Her books are hit and miss with me, but I don’t mind reading them even if they aren’t my cup of tea. I got an e-ARC of this book for being subscribed to Hill’s Patreon. I did enjoy the book; it was a fun little escape from reality. I did feel the plot line fell a little flat for me, and the \"conflict\" was a little annoying. I enjoyed the spicy scenes (love a two peen guy). They were great and...

Cari and Zed had such an adorably meet cute, but everything after that fell a little short. There are a lot of things that seemed to happen just to make the story work, but weren't totally sensical. Her card being returned, his restraining order (she was 18 and her dad filed it in her sted. She would have had a say), him never reaching out. As much as I liked the banter/chemistry between the two characters, the rest was just meh. I hated their date; I didn't find it cute or funny or anything...

Spicy, sweet, Cozy, romantic. The bad guy gets eaten by the dragon. Everyone gets their happily ever after. Highly recommend! )

I would recommend this book for monster lovers who love a good satisfying ending to a mystery. It's not too much to sit down and read. I sat down and read it in less than 8 hours and I would by far recommend this book because of the detail you can see in the writing )
