WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I have been waiting for this book to come back for sale for several YEARS, and the wait was absolutely worth it. Stephanie Light takes us into a rich story full of love, betrayal, strength, and courage and gives us an amazing MMC with a stutter and an incredible FMC that learns to love and trust again after a horrific betrayal. I have been following this authors journey for a long time now and this particular story was how I was first introduced to her writing. It was so engaging i found her other works and gobbled them up just as quickly. Her writing style I have found to be unique and real. This is the first book I read from this author years ago, and now I’m so excited to own the paperback. Zane is one of the most wonderfully written MMCs, and I truly loved adored him. I also loved the author’s strong FMC, though I disagreed with her at times, I thought both main characters and the side characters in this story were very well-written. An absolute must read! It will have you hooked on the first chapter!! If you want a refreshing take on a female character with self reflection and a character that won’t take no BS well look no further.
