The Princess in a 'Prince' Disguise: Beasts of Wrath and Madness, Book 1

by Kiss Leilani

About this book

They don't know I'm a girl.

They all look at me and see a boy. A prince.

Their kind purchase humans like me for their lustful desires.

And when they storm into our kingdom to buy my sister, I intervene to protect her. I make them take me too.

The plan is to escape with my sister whenever we find a chance.

How am I to know our prison will be the most fortified place in their kingdom?

I'm supposed to stay on the sidelines. The one they have no real use for. The one they never mean to buy.

But then, the most important person in their savage land—their ruthless beast king—takes an interest in the "pretty little prince."

How do we survive in this brutal kingdom, where everyone hates our kind and shows us no mercy?

And how does someone, with a secret like mine, become a lust slave?

I enjoyed the book, started out watching it on an app. The book was a million times better. Definitely read the book instead of the little clips. ) One person found this helpful

5/5!! MUST READ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

May 20, 2026

I recently finished reading The Princess in a Prince Disguise series by Kiss Leilani, and overall it was definitely a rollercoaster. Books 1 and 2 completely had me hooked from the start. There was always something happening, the storyline was exciting, and it kept me wanting to keep reading! I literally stayed up till 3 AM reading and had to work at 8 AM lol 🫣 The twists, drama, and character interactions made those first two books really hard to put down. However, around book 3 I started...

WARNING: Cliffhanger! This is probably a 4/5 on my trauma scale, but only because the immediate danger is passed, it’s just not over yet! NOTE: This is an honest review in which I do discuss some of the possibly spoiler-ish issues in the book. You have been warned. That being said, this is dark. Read the triggers. Don’t read the book if you can’t handle them. In a dystopian society, where being a woman is a rare enough thing that they are treated as a commodity; Emeriel is a princess dressed as...

I was skeptical

What started out as pure dark smut turned into a wonderful storyline that I could not put down. Yes, it's dark. Yes, there's spice. But, there is a plot that kept my interest. Originally found this from TikTok, it was on an ad for one of those mini drama movie series. So glad I decided to read the book instead! )

I need the Audio Book ASAP

Booktok always seems to fail me but for the first time it brought me somewhere I didn’t know I needed to be. It was incredibly dark without being triggering (for me) but please read the TW before diving in. I would say it gave off the same initial “feels” as Anne Rice’s Sleeping Beauty but I was quickly invested in these characters (not so much for Sleeping Beauty, I couldn’t muster any emotion connection there). Anyways, I’m off to devour book 2 but I do hope these books make it to audio...
