The twists and turns are what really get you. Every chapter brings a new obstacle and rips your heart out anew. The whiplash from immense joy to utter heartbreak, and the horrible cliffhanger that you're left on? 😭😭😭 Thank goodness the next book is already out, I don't think I could handle having to wait to find out what happens next! )

I really like these books, they’re just toooooooo loooonnnggggg. Some scenes are unnecessary and just add fluff that has already been shared or surmised. I like the writing, and this is undoubtedly becoming one of my favorite authors, but honestly, these books don’t need to be this long. I like the relationship between Daemon and Riel, and Vlad and Keira. It’s wonderful to watch both blossoming after what the sisters have been through. I recently finished reading The Princess in a Prince Disguise series by Kiss Leilani, and overall it was definitely a rollercoaster. Books 1 and 2 completely had me hooked from the start. There was always something happening, the storyline was exciting, and it kept me wanting to keep reading!
